Chad did a home inspection on a house we were going to purchase. He was extremely thorough and explained in layman’s terms what he was looking for and his findings. My husband and I learnt so much. Everything looked pretty good other than a few minor things which were not deal breakers. As Chad was finishing, he asked us if we wanted the house checked for radon because we would be using the finished basement for an office. My husband and I did not even think about radon until Chad brought it up. We agreed to have it checked and were shocked a few days later to learn the house had a very high radon level. Although this could be repaired, we were not comfortable with this. We are forever grateful to Chad for suggesting the check for radon.
